Floyd S. Yarnell

Floyd is a long time resident of Collier County, Florida. His parents relocated to the area in 1980 from Michigan. He attended high school at Barron Collier High School.  

Floyd is a 1993 graduate of University of South Florida in Tampa where he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science. While completing his courses to obtain his undergraduate degree, Floyd actively participated in political campaigns on both the local and state level. Upon receiving his degree from University of South Florida, Floyd worked in the hospitality industry and held an upper level management position with a national restaurant chain.

In 1996, Floyd began his legal studies at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale. He obtained his Juris Doctorate in 1999. Upon obtaining his degree, Floyd joined the firm of Parrish, Lawhon, White & Moore, P.A., which is the prior name of his current firm. Floyd became a partner with the firm in 2005.

Floyd is admitted to practice law throughout the Circuit and County Courts of the State of Florida, Supreme Court of Florida, United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, Middle District of Florida, Northern District of Florida, Eastern District of Arkansas, Western District of Arkansas, District of Colorado, Western District of Tennessee, Western District of Michigan, Eastern District of Texas, Western District of Texas and Southern District of Texas.

Floyd’s practice primarily focuses on complex commercial and construction litigation, corporate transactions, intellectual property, asset protection and foreclosures.
